Hi, I’m Yvette.

I believe in events that move people. Events that bring us together, tell a story and stay with you.

With Hype By Nature, I turn ideas into live experiences. My work ranges from intimate community events to festivals and international productions, with care for the people, the details and everything that needs to work behind the scenes.

From preparation to the final guest, I bring creativity, structure and a clear overview, giving you the space to experience your own event.

Head of Production

Around 20,000 visitors

As Head of Production, I worked alongside LatinVillage’s Business Manager, M'barek Ben Addi, taking responsibility for production before, during and after the festival. As his right hand, I connected the preparation with what needed to happen on site.

On the festival day, I was the central point of contact for crew, suppliers and the organising team. I coordinated with technical production and activations, kept an overview and adjusted plans whenever needed.

My approach: stay calm, communicate clearly and directly, and find solutions as situations arise. Clear agreements, close coordination and a willingness to get hands-on.

Netflix

Red carpet management

Lucky Number 8 Concepts · Production team

During a week of Netflix events and activations in Johannesburg, I joined the production team at Lucky Number 8 Concepts. For the Netflix 10 Year Anniversary Gala, I was responsible for coordinating the red carpet and managing its flow.

From check-in, I guided talent through photo opportunities and interviews to the reception inside. I coordinated with photographers, journalists, PR and media, keeping each stage within its allotted time.

When the carpet became busy or bottlenecks formed, I stepped in: moving talent to the next stage, reminding media of their time slots and keeping the flow moving. This kept the different parts of the red carpet coordinated.

04 — FROM IDEA TO DELIVERY

    Getting to know each other

    In a free 30-minute online call, we discuss your idea, audience and goals. We explore where you are in the process and what support you need.

  2. 02

    A tailored proposal

    You receive a proposal outlining the scope, schedule and fee. From full production to supporting your team, we agree clearly on who is responsible for what.

  3. 03

    Preparation

    Once the proposal is agreed, I turn our plans into a practical production approach: run sheets, suppliers, crew and coordination with everyone involved, aligned with my role in your project.

  4. 04

    Delivery

    On site, I keep an overview, coordinate the agreed areas and adjust where needed. We also agree on the wrap-up and evaluation.
